Jedyną noszoną jawnie oznaką były kolorowe sznury do gwizdków określające stopień dowodzenia. Poniższa tabela przedstawia oznaki według "Regulaminu Szarż" wydanego 15-02-1912

"Polish Shooters Companies" - Paramilitary organisation in Austro-Hungary

Polskie Drużyny Strzeleckie (Polish Shooters Companies) arised in July 1911 as an official organisation created by, existing since 1909 in deep conspire, Polish Army. Polskie Dru¿yny Strzeleckie covered the whole territory of Poland. However their activities depended on local circumstances. The main goal of this organisation was to prepare NCOs and officers for the future Polish Army. The military training was based on rules of occupant armies. The other area of activity was the sport training and intelligence (ex. photographing of occupant's Army facilities). In the Prussian part of Poland their activity was very limited. On the Russian part they join their meeting in the school uniforms (which was not suspicious). The most tolerant were the Austro-Hungarian authorities. In this area the meeting started in sport clothing and in 1911 Drużyny Strzeleckie introduced their own unified uniforms. Of course wearing of rank insignia and using military titles was strictly prohibited. Therefore the insignia prescribed by rules and used by the individuals took the form of easy removable collar patches. The only insignia worn officialy were the whistle cords denoting the level of command (these cords were not suspicious). This chapter deals with the insignia prescribed and used by Drużyny Strzeleckie in the region of Poland occupied by Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. The following table presents insignia prescribed in "Regulamin Szarż" issued by the command of Drużyny Strzeleckie on 15th of February, 1912
